Two evenings of music, food, fun, and community talent is scheduled for July 30 and 31 at 6:30 p.m. each night on the International Bank of Amherst Terrace at the Jensen Community Center. Tunes on the Terrace brings together performers of all ages from across the community for an outdoor concert experience. Guests are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs. In the event of inclement weather, the concert will move indoors.
Presented by Variety Productions, this concert is designed to showcase both large-group musical performances and a select number of featured solo and small-group acts. While performances begin at 6:30 p.m., doors will open at 5:30 p.m. for food, beverage, and raffle purchases. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Jensen Center’s 3Stage Expansion Project.
General seating digital tickets are $10 each, and children under 4 are free. Tickets can be purchased by scanning the QR code on the Tunes on the Terrace poster on page 34, by texting (715) 340-8078, or by emailing vpjgtix@gmail.com. A limited number of tickets are available, so attendees are encouraged to purchase early.
Community members interested in participating in the concert experience are encouraged to email Janet Glodowski at varietyproductionsJG@gmail.com. All participants will perform in the large-group musical numbers, and those interested may also submit ideas for solo or small-group performances. Final songs will be made through a selection process to help create the final concert lineup.
Rehearsals will take place throughout the month of July, with final rehearsal dates and times still being finalized. Whether attending as audience members or stepping into the spotlight, families can expect two evenings filled with music, community spirit, and energy as Tunes on the Terrace returns this summer.
