Amherst Class of 2026 graduates May 22

The Class of 2026’s valedictorians and salutatorian.

This year’s Amherst High School Senior Class features six valedictorians — Shayden Abbott-Beversdorf, Michael Glodowski, Ava Krebsbach, Allison Lassa, Elliot Podeszwa, and Hannah Rekowski — and one salutatorian — Otto Anglemyer. A full-color pullout photo spread of the entire class was included in the May 2026 Community Spirit.

The move from a Saturday morning ceremony to a Friday night event continues this year with commencement beginning at 7 p.m. on Friday, May 22, on Heartland Farms Field, unless inclement weather forces the ceremony into the High School Gym, a decision that will not be made until that day.
