The River Run

Join us on Saturday, October 10, 2026 for the Jensen Community Center’s annual River Run fundraiser! This community event features both a timed 5-Mile Course and an untimed 2-Mile Course, welcoming runners and walkers of all abilities for a fun and memorable morning that showcases the heart of Amherst, Wisconsin.

All funds raised directly support the Jensen Community Center and its programs, events, and community initiatives. Participants receive a commemorative t-shirt, a can of River Run beer, and the opportunity to purchase a bottle of the limited and highly sought-after Central Waters Black Gold.

The event also includes the Falcon Fun Run for kids ages 5–10, where children run a fun ½ K course and receive a special participation gift.

Pre-registration is required. While same-day registrations are accepted, there is an additional fee and those registrants are NOT guaranteed a t-shirt.
