Persons 60 and over are invited to join the group for good food, good fun, and good company. Reservations for the noon meal are appreciated. Please call 347-4856. A donation of $3.00 is suggested.

Home - Delivered Meals
For homebound elderly unable to attend the dining site, hot meals are delivered on Mondays, Wednesdays, & Fridays. Frozen meals are available for the remaining days. A donation of $3.00 per meal is suggested.
What?
The mission of the agency is to support seniors, adults with disabilities, and their families and caregivers by offering easy access to services and by fostering a caring community that values lifelong contributions, maximum independence, and individual dignity.
Funding for services is provided through grants and allocations from federal, state and county governments, the United Way , underwriting by local businesses, private contributions, and participant fees and donations.

Aging & Disability Resource Center offices are located at Lincoln Center , 1519 Water Street , Stevens Point .
Information about services and programs may also be obtained by contacting a Site Manager at any of the Nutrition Program dining sites in the county.
How?
People interested in receiving information or in participating in any program may:
Call the Aging & Disability Resource Center at (715) 346-1401 or 1-800-586-5055 and tell the receptionist you want to talk to someone about a program, a service or a concern. The receptionist will connect you with the appropriate staff. Information and Assistance Specialists are also available to arrange a home or office visit to help match services with your needs.
Walk In. Someone is always available to show you around and tell you about our programs. Have a cup of coffee and relax in our comfortable lounge where there's a TV, library collection, and bulletin board with announcements of current activities.
Look for our agency's quarterly newsletter, the Post, which is circulated throughout the county, as an insert in the local Buyers' Guide. The Post is full of information about everything from Medicare benefits to bus routes to senior center class offerings. You may call or stop in to request your first issue or a list of the dates the Post will be inserted in the Buyers' Guide. |
